Chittagong University(CU) has awesome reputation for its Shuttle Train. We know, only two University of the world has own Train vehicles system for their students.  Chittagong University one of them.

Evey University has a mission to reach their  goal as well as has Vision. The Vision of the CU is "Creative endeavor for reaching a global height in higher education".
 Mission: "To enlighten not only the stakeholders of the University but also the whole of the nation and the world community at large through acquiring and imparting knowledge and world-class education based productive research, teaching and training with adequate motivational and innovative initiatives to serve entire mankind."

Professor Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhary, Vice-Chancellor of the university is very sincere to enhance educational quality, make better Bangladesh, to establish Dreaming Bangladesh of Banga Bhundu Shekh Mujibur Rahman.

Including seven institute there are also nine faculty under this university.
