About
thirty eight public university is still running in
Bangladesh Now. Of them Chittagong University(CU) is top of them
for 2018. So as a well known University, it has huge
amount of reputation in home and abroad. You will have heard the name Dr. Jamal Nazrul Islam as world famous
scientist. But do you know about his details after came back from abroad for motherland ?

Yes, Dr. Jamal Nazrul joined Department of
Mathematics of this university. Before joining here, he served as Mathematical physicist in several University; California Institute of technology,
University of Washington, City University London and also served applied
mathematics in king’s college London. Finally, Jamal Nazrul sir came back to
Bangladesh in 1984. Famous scientist, mathematician also decorated the
mathematics department of CU.
The
department of this university has started of its journey form 1968. At the end
of more than four era, the department will going to arrange a program heading “Golden
Jubilee celebration-2018” for fulfilled of its 50 years.

By
the end of the long year, department produced many important person who take
part to build our nation. So Former students, present students, teachers all
together will present of this program. Dr. Ganesh Chandra Ray, honorable
chairman, already have arranged two internal meeting to make better, easier
moreover a successful program.
No doubt, this would be better than any
